Cooking by mistake

1. Incorrect Measurements.

Using inaccurate measurements of ingredients can throw off the balance of the recipe and affect the texture and flavor of the bread.

The Fix

Use the Correct Measuring Tools.. Use dry measuring cups for flour, sugar, and other dry ingredients, and use liquid measuring cups for liquids like water, milk, or oil. Dry and liquid have different spouts for pouring.

Measuring spoons are used for smaller quantities of ingredients like yeast, salt, or spices. If you have limited measuring cups use one to measure all dry ingredients first, then the wet. Avoid putting dry ingredients into a wet cup. Measure twice or recheck measurements.

Fluff the flour before you scoop it, then use something straight to scrape the top. A digital scale is worth every penny and will make your life easier in the bakery and kitchen.
